Ms. Waterston combines MA level accredited emotional healing therapies with a holistic approach to mind-body-spirit renewal and restoration. Therapy is non-discriminatory with respect for your values, your life choices and your spiritual path.
Throughout the years Ms. Waterston has conducted seminars and workshops at women's groups and retreats, run addiction groups for men and for women, mentored women in sobriety, worked with homeless women recovering from addiction and physical/emotional abuse, and she has run sober housing for women.
Sometimes intellectual understanding is not enough for the change you hope for. Breaking self-destructive patterns and learning new coping tools through strategic guidance helps you gain more flexibility and balance in your life. Ms. Waterston combines cognitive behavior therapy, hypnotherapy, lifespan integration therapy, Attachment Style Relationship therapy, sensorimotor interventions, and mindfulness for a holistic approach to emotional healing.
"My belief in the practice of mental health counseling is to respect the dignity of every person, regardless of similarities or differences, preferences or beliefs. I believe each person is designed in the likeness of God, made with purpose and intent. My job is to walk alongside as my client(s) discover their own beauty, their wholeness, their meaning in life, and their own amazing uniqueness---gaining understanding, empowerment and healing from circumstances, people and histories that have robbed them of their true selves."
